To ensure you get the maximum effectiveness and quality from your products, we recommend the following timelines for usage after opening:
- Soap: 12 months
- Body Butter: 3 months
- Beard and Hair Creams/Butters: 3 months
- Beard and Hair Oils: 6 months
- Lotion Bars: 6 months
Do you have tips for storing the products?
Store lotion bars in a cool, dry place to prevent melting or softening. If the bar is too hard, especially in cold weather, you can run it under warm water (enclosed in the tin packaging) briefly to soften it.
How do I use the Crown & Mane Hair Serum?
Crown & Mane Hair Serum is a versatile, leave-in treatment suitable for both men and women.
Here’s how to use it:
- Apply to dry or wet hair.
- Place a few drops directly on your scalp and massage gently.
- Add 3-5 drops to your palm, rub between your hands, and apply from scalp to ends, focusing on dry areas.
- Use daily or 1-2 times per week, depending on your hair’s needs.
How do I apply beard oil and beard butter?
Follow these steps for the best results with our beard care products:
- Start with a clean, towel-dried beard.
- For Beard Butter: Massage a small amount into your beard and the skin beneath.
- For Beard Oil: Dispense a few drops of oil into your palm, rub gently to warm it, and massage into your beard and skin.
- Use a beard comb or brush to evenly distribute the product and style as desired.
- When using both products, apply the butter first, followed by the oil.
How do I use the lotion bars?
Lotion bars are simple to use and deeply nourishing. Here’s how:
- For best results, apply after showering when your skin is slightly damp.
- Rub the bar directly onto your skin or transfer a small amount with your hands.
- Massage into your skin until absorbed.
- Pay extra attention to dry areas like elbows, knees, and feet.
Can lotion bars be used on the face?
Yes, but use sparingly. Apply a small amount to avoid heaviness, and steer clear of the eye area.

What is your Return Policy?
Due to the organic nature of our products, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. If for any reason you are unhappy with your order, please contact us and we will do our best to provide a fair remedy. You may address any concerns to info@distinctivelyu.com.
Are all your products available online and in person?
Yes, all of our products can be purchased either through our website or in person — find as at an upcoming event. However, mystery boxes are exclusive to specific promotions and are not part of our regular product lineup.
Do you have products with consistent availability?
Absolutely! While we offer a wide variety of scents, there are signature fragrances and products you’ll always find in stock. These include:

How much does shipping cost?
We offer free shipping on orders $100 and over. For orders under $100, packages are shipped according to weight. Our carriers are FedEx and USPS. Orders are usually dispatched within 3 business days of payment. If for any reason your shipment will be delayed you will be informed by email.
Shipping confirmations and package tracking information will be provided via email once items have been dispatched. We regret we are unable to ship anywhere outside of the US at this time.

What happens if something I order goes out of stock?
We are always working to keep our inventory ready for our customers. However, since our products are handcrafted and can take 4-6 weeks to create, cure and package. On rare occasions there may be a brief waiting period to fulfill your order. If this occurs, you will be notified immediately and offered comparable products or the option to have your chosen product shipped to you immediately once it becomes available.
